Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we collect in the Webority Partner Program, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Last updated: 19 August 2026
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the Webority Partner Program: the website at webority.partners, the Partner Portal you sign in to, and the Webority Partners mobile apps for iOS and Android. It is issued by Webority Technologies Private Limited ("Webority", "we", "us"), the data controller for the information described below.
If you are a client or a visitor to our main website rather than a partner, the policy at webority.com/privacy-policy applies to you.
2. Information you give us about yourself
When you apply to the program and use it, we collect:
- Application details — your name, email address, phone number, country, company or practice name, and the professional background you tell us about so we can assess your application.
- Account details — the credentials and profile information used to sign in to the Partner Portal.
- Payment and tax details — where commission becomes payable, the bank, payment and tax identifiers required to pay you and to meet our own accounting and statutory obligations.
- Communications — messages, enquiries and support requests you send us, and our replies.
3. Information you give us about other people
This section matters, and it is specific to a referral program. When you refer an opportunity, you provide us with information about someone else — typically a contact name, business email, phone number, organisation and a description of their requirement.
We use that information solely to evaluate, pursue and service the referred opportunity, and to calculate any commission owed to you. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to share those details with us — for example the consent of the person concerned, or a legitimate business relationship that makes the introduction reasonable. Please do not submit special-category data, or the details of anyone who has asked not to be contacted.
If a referred contact asks us to delete their details, we will act on that request directly and independently of the partner who referred them.
4. Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data — IP address, browser or app version, device type and operating system, pages or screens viewed, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure how the site is used. Non-essential cookies are set only where you have consented, and you can change that choice at any time.
- Diagnostic data — error and performance information used to keep the portal and apps working.
Our mobile apps do not collect your contacts, photos, location or device identifiers for advertising, and we do not sell personal data or share it with data brokers.
5. Why we use it
- To assess and administer your partner application and account.
- To evaluate and pursue referrals you submit, and to keep you updated on their progress.
- To calculate, verify and pay commission, and to meet tax and accounting obligations.
- To provide support, and to send service messages about the program.
- To secure the platform, prevent fraud and misuse, and enforce our program terms.
- To improve the portal and apps.
We rely on the performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the program, your consent where we ask for it, and our legal obligations — depending on the purpose above.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers who host, secure, analyse or support the platform, and payment providers who process commission, each bound to use it only on our instructions.
- Webority teams who deliver the referred work.
- Authorities or advisers where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend legal claims.
7. Where it is stored
Data is hosted on Microsoft Azure infrastructure. Where information is transferred outside your country, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
8. How long we keep it
- Unsuccessful applications — kept for a limited period so we can explain the decision and reconsider, then deleted.
- Active partner accounts — kept while the partnership is active.
- Referral and commission records — retained for the period required by tax, accounting and contractual obligations, which may outlast the partnership.
- Diagnostic data — kept for a short operational period.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege access to the systems holding partner data, and we review those controls. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password for the Partner Portal and tell us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
10. Your rights
Subject to local law, you may request access to your personal data, correction of it, deletion of it, restriction of or objection to its processing, a portable copy, and withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out.
If you are in the EEA or UK you may complain to your local supervisory authority. If you are in California you may exercise the rights available under the CCPA, including the right to know and to delete — and we confirm we do not sell personal information. If you are in India, you may exercise your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 through the Grievance Officer below.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 13.
11. Children
The Partner Program is for business use by adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and we will tell you about material changes through the Partner Portal or by email.
